Gennaro/AKA "Jerry" Dominick Caccavale, who will be Forever Loved, sadly passed away on February 9, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn on November 14, 1934, the son of two immigrants who came to the United States via Ellis Island. His parents - Dominick Caccavale born in Naples and Maria LaBassi born in Sicily taught him the Italian tradition of "Food is Love." Jerry was a proud husband and father of four daughters. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Brenda Ann Caccavale on March 24, 2000. Since his wife's passing, Jerry has expressed his love to his family and friends through his "Love of Food". He harnessed the Italian traditions of his parents and showed his love and generosity to everyone he encountered by offering them a great meal that he cooked. No meal or holiday was too difficult for this self-made Italian chef. He always made you laugh and feel comfortable to be a guest in his home. He loved all sports, the casino, playing cards, classic music, spending time with his family, hanging out with his grandsons, and relaxing in the beautiful Florida sun by the pool. He was a trendsetter still at 86 years young wearing his La Coste jacket, shirts, and Hugo Boss Jeans. Jerry will be greatly missed by all he touched and our hearts will be forever filled with the love and light he has given us. The time has come for Jerry to join his beloved wife Brenda in their new journey together.
